About a week ago Tim, the kids and I went for a ramble on Cooper Mountain. The trees were lovely and everyone’s faces were rosy and I got a couple cute pictures. So thinking I’d get ahead of the holiday season, I went online and ordered Thanksgiving cards. Everyone does Christmas, why not skip the madness and do it early? Walmart is cheap, only 30 cents a card so I ordered 40, the total $12 bucks plus shipping.
Yesterday, a package showed up on my porch suspiciously thin. It had one photo and envelope and a receipt for .30 plus four dollars shipping.
So, then I sat in bed with my phone texting with customer service. Here’s part of that exchange.

So, at this point they’re barely believing me, but play along and offer me coupon. I log back on to Walmart, find the saved card and try to order more. The thing is, somewhere in the coding it remembers I ordered 40. So when I try to order 40 it calculates my total for 1,600 prints, and I do not have that many friends, so I choose 1 again and charges for one but charges shipping for 40.
At this point, I am not sure what to do or if it’s even worth getting into. Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I sending out one card and all of you are going to have to share.
