Van Life

Yesterday was a super busy day with zero down time. I was up at 6:30 with Eliana to get her off to the school bus. And then I loaded the dishwasher, and got half way through folding a load of laundry. At 7:45 I got Ivy up dressed and fed and we were out the door by 8:15 to get to a dermatology appointment in Portland at nine. The doctor determined that my eczema was mild to moderate, and not moderate to severe so I didn’t qualify to participate in the study for the new medicine.

Then we went home and I walked the dog and fed Ivy, started the dishwasher and finished folding clothes. After that, I drove Ivy to her play date (babysitter’s) in Banks and then went to my tutoring gig in Cornelius until 4:15. Then back to Banks for Ivy and straight to the city pool for Eliana. She ate a half a sandwich in the car as we returned home where she changed for her band concert while I walked the dog again. I attempted to dry her hair with the blow dryer.

Tim arrived home and we drove together to the auditorium at the High School. Tim ate the other half of the sandwich on the way. Eliana performed her six songs including classics such as Hot Cross Buns and Merrily We Roll Along while Ivy, Tim and I watched proudly from the audience. To celebrate we ate a late dinner at McDonalds. The night wrapped up with the kids getting ready bed, Tim putting the chickens away and feeding the rabbit while I swept the floors and put away the remaining clothes. We climbed into bed and basically passed out. Tomorrow should be lighter.

My kid is second from the left.
