Bad Romance

Recently there has been an uptick in an online hustle called a romance scam. It is usually starts over social media where someone will get an unsolicited compliment from someone pretending to be in love with them. The pictures are too pretty and everything is too easy. Soon there the is a wedding proposal, and just a few solicitations for cash to get out of a tight spot. Finally, then victim is left penniless and heartbroken.

Since the election, I have had the nagging feeling that many of my fellow citizens have fallen for a romance scam of a political nature. A man running for office promised them the world.  He said that he love them the very most, and he would put them First. Then he said that he would give them everything they wanted: lower inflation, affordable gas prices, and a better chance at everything. He promised to stop all the wars and conflicts and make sure that no one bad would hurt them. So they chose him.

The problem is that it is a scam. He doesn’t love America first, he loves himself first. Read about his fake university, bogus charity, and all the schemes and frauds he’s committed. His priority is to make money.  He will cut all of the parts out of the government that protects the people and keep all of the parts that benefits himself and the big corporations that funded him. By the time this is done, we’ll have our country in ruins, and our treasury emptied.
