The Algorithm

Yesterday, my phone was telling me things. First it urged me go get my daughter from camp 15 minutes early because it was Friday and traffic is a little worse around Portland area in the afternoon. It was totally accurate and I arrived exactly on time for pick up.

Then got a text that my debit card shut off. I called to find out what was going on and they said they needed to verify some purchases. Specifically a McDonald’s charge for $27. Yes, it cost that much, I am shocked too. Perhaps my patterned way of living where I never deviate, flagged a lunch on the Eastside of Portland as suspicious. Has anyone had this happen to them?
